MLB Every Team's most Surprising Player of 2021

Okay, I don't know how to link this MLB topic, but I just read that the Angels player was Jared Walsh.  I was thinking it might be Ohtani.

Gee I wonder who is the most Surprising player on the Dodgers this year.......

I was thinking Gosselin.  Or Stassi.

I think it has to be Ohtani. We knew he was capable of this, but I think is both maxing out expectations, and exceeding them in the power department.

Now just imagine if and when his BA comes up (I think he's capable of hitting .290+ in most years) and increase his innings a bit.

But the main reason that he is the most surprising is that he's doing it at all - and is healthy. 

Walsh is just continuing on from what he showed last year, so it is only surprising if you weren't paying attention or thought it was a fluke. I think he's exceeding expectations, though.

Gosselin and Stassi...too small of a sample size. 

Honorable mentions: Patrick Sandoval and Jose Suarez. They both had this potential, but the surprise is that they're actualizing it. That doesn't happen to Angels pitching prospects very often.

The only surprising thing about Albert is him beating out a grounder to deep LF for a single.

Comparing Pujols stats with Angel & Dodgers this year, they're almost identical.  Why the heck are they loving him so much there?
