if you're looking for a new team to follow, you have my permission to abandon our ship and grab a tampa/oakland life saver.

No I'd like Angels to get smarter and stop doing same old crap. Time for rebuild play the young players. Barria and Suarez in rotation. Bundy, Cobb and Quintana gone after this season put them in pen. After Heaney traded bring up Detmers.

I think of a bullpen like a batting lineup......you would not want your weakest hitters hitting in lineup spots that are often in high leverage situations.  If the Angel lineup was like the bullpen, Juan Lagares would be hitting second and Kurt Suzuki would be hitting third because there are no better options available.

Every player has a role but not the same role.  The Angels' problem is that they continue trying to use pitchers in roles they can not be successful in over the long term.

Because they do not have pitchers who can get OUTS. This team needs Barria and Suarez in rotation.  Bundy, Cobb and Quintana in bullpen. Give Barria and Suarez experience for 22

If our pitching is going to suck can we at least suck with guys who are cheap?  Give Barria, Sandavol, and Suarez the rotation spot.  Worst case scenario they are not any worse.  Best case scenario we have three young and cheap starting pitchers.

If there's any silver lining to this series is that the A's beat us without us having out best player and Rendon for 2 games. They were at full strength.

I think the Angels record has been better without Trout.

Not by much but just sayin'
