That was fun (and ignore foolios - he's one of the biggest douches on this board).

Evan Longoria is easy to forget about, but has quite a career going. His first four seasons in which he averaged over 6 WAR were his four best. For a guy going into his age 26 season with 24.6 WAR already, the Hall seemed a likely destination. I'm not sure what happened, but he was never as good. I'm not sure why, but star third basemen tend to decline early. Anyhow, Longoria remained a very good player for another half decade, gathering another 21.5 WAR to be at 46.1 through age 30, but then he dropped another level and has been pretty mediocre-to-average since, with 5.6 WAR over the next four years. But he's improbably having a bit of a bounce back season, with 1.6 WAR and is on pace for his best year since 2016. But unless he manages a true renaissance and puts up another 15 or so WAR, he's probably going to end up as a Hall of the Very Good type. But with 53.4 WAR right now, a few more 3-4 seasons gives him a chance.
