Honestly, that's all we can hope for going forward.

That and good performances from Ohtani, Rendon, Walsh and Upton, plus a couple other guys here and there.

I'm done with Heaney though man. I just want to slap the cavalier countenance off his face whenever he's on the mound. He doesn't pitch like he gives a shit or with any passion.

81 pitches in 3 innings.  Nuff said.

It could be worse. The Mariners were no-hit again tonight.

They've been no-hit twice so far this season against the Orioles and Tigers.

Sorry to be negative but the reality is people only say “It could be worse” when things suck.

And no, the Mariners being no-hit doesn’t make be feel any better at all about the state of this team right now.

Mariners currently have a better record.  Not sure which is worse.

Yeah, I pointed out their record last night, too.  Ha ha.  That said, their team batting average is currently .199, which is just hilarious.  That's the lowest team batting average this deep into a season since the 1910 White Sox were at .192.  That's insane!  (The White Sox ended up at a robust .211 that year, btw.  Ed Walsh had a 1.27 ERA and only went 18-20...)

Well the Angels can still improve their record in the standings, the Mariners can't take back being no-hit by two terrible teams in a two week period. They're one more no-hitter away from being in the record books.

That's not the type of record you want to set.

Crazy!

With no-hitters on the rise and a team BA of .199 they're are prime candidate from being no-hit again.
