Ok assholes, so I found sludge/paint on my top again and it turns out it was from the garage opener track. We had it repaired recently and the dude put too much lubricant so it keeps dripping on my top. Sorry Doyers fans!

Had the same thing happen to my garage door. My door ended up with a black stripe down the middle. I had a garage door company do it. They used the wrong kind of lube. 

Had to clean and paint the door. 

Also clean chain and use proper lube.
