Interesting story from the guy who witnessed this, then ran up to rescue...he stumbled on a rather large bear just before he got to the jeep!

This guy is bad ass. He witnessed the crash ... started running up a steep slope of boulders, evaded a bear, rescued injured people in jeep. Probably not the day he was planning on having

I'm pretty much desensitized to police cover ups and lawlessness anymore.  I knew nothing would happen to the LAPD thugs that shot up the blue truck, and I also had a hunch that the cell phone videos would end up "misplaced" during the Bakersfield investigation. 

 

Though, since there is only one cop involved here and it seems to be highly publicized, there's an off chance that he might face some sort of penalty.  I won't hold my breath though.

Gov. Chris Christie commented on this incident right after it happened. I recall the words idiot and moron being used a few times, There is no way he is getting off easy.
