Hopefully it's nothing serious with Barreto.

I'm actually starting to like the trade we made to get him. regarding his defense, he seems to fit in that super Uti role. I've actually liked but i've seen from him offensively. He has an idea on what he doing, he's willing to go opps, center and has pull power. I do think shortening his swing, may help him reach his potential.

Imagine if the Halos had the A’s pen, and the A’s had ours.

A’s starters: 4.60 ERA and 1.40 WHIP

A’s relievers: 2.20 ERA and 1.10 WHIP

Whoever is GM in 2021, better start taking bullpens seriously!

Last year the A’s had a good bullpen but guys who weren’t performing last year are performing this year.  So do you give the A’s credit for Soria when he is good this year, or do you give them shit for him being shitty last year?  Or when they had the best closer in baseball in 2018 in Treinen.  Then last year the same dude was garbage.  While I do agree that we need to focus on bullpen, I just don’t know how to do it.

Then you got Liam Hendricks, the dude had a 4.72 career ERA the first 8 years of his career, including two of those years with the A’s then he turns it around with back to back sub 2 ERA years.
