The issue is this organization has never fucking rebuilt. We always try to retool instead and we're left with an empty barren farmsystem for the last fucking decade. 

First, bring in someone like Andrew Friedman. Give him 100% control. And then.... you......trade.....Tro...Trou.....Trout.. Sorry that hurt to say, but a rebuild would take at least 3 years. Trout deserves to be on a competitive team, and the Angels need the prospects Trout would command.

Trout won’t bring back what you think he will bring back. He’s so valuable that he’s untradeable.  No organization will take on that contract and return the talent necessary to consider the trade.

Exactly right. No team will take on $400 million and also give us a bunch of great players/prospects. Trout will be an Angel until he retires and heads to the Hall. 

If we never get back to the playoffs during his career, he will be like Ted Williams, who got to the World Series once in 19 years and hit .200. Trout is not holding us back from the postseason. A lot of other problems are, and those problems can be solved without trading him. Management and owner need to get on the ball and rebuild this team. They took an important step with Rendon. Now get some decent pitching and things will start to turn around.

Regarding trading Trout, see M. Cabrera trade from Marlins to Tigers.    Trading the best player in the game rarely ever has worked out, if ever.

I think anyone on this board that entertains the thought that Trout can or should be traded, needs to be banned so hard their internet runs at dial up speeds for the next year.
