Well it’s fucking dumb. Not just the play but the notion our coaches have decided to coach to a 5.75 ERA instead of the 3.75 ERA they were at before that. Maddon is at fault for his short leash on pitchers early, but now those starters, who aren’t over worked are shitting the bed. Oh and the relief pitchers who’ve all sucked lately, maybe because of being over worked (Maddon’s fault).  Him resting players to stay healthy has worked with Trout but not with Ward or Rendon.  The defense which was his biggest weakness last year has been all but solved.
