It wasn't like they were on a street corner and randomly were witnesses to something and they never knew the defendant. Unfortunately they are the ones tied to the case, they can't just call the pizza delivery boy.  No it isn't a great case but who was the one hanging with them in the first place and their ZERO credibility comes from being tied to him.  Cohen is a lying fuck, even more so when Trump needs him to on his behalf.

Daniels fucks dudes and Trump cheats on his wife since we know he doesn’t believe in fidelity. Not hard to believe they screwed. But hey, maybe he paid her off for no sex. If so, what a dumbass. 
 

With all that said, this case isn’t about Trump fucking Daniels, it’s about campaign finances. But sex sells so it’s just a better headline.

Personally I would like to see him on trial for the other cases but the justice system favors people like Trump for delays and appeals.

Probably because they are the two main people involved in this outside of Trump. Cohen is a piece of shit but he got disbarred in connection to actions he did for Trump. 

These also weren't the only two witnesses. Others are the National Enquirer owner, Hope Hicks, Trump's former assistant, the lawyer that negotiated the deal, and Trump Org's former controller.
