The truth: 43% of people let go with no bail on a serious charge in NYC were rearrested — the ‘reform’ is a disaster

Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and other politicians who voted for the disastrous New York bail-reform laws keep quoting a “study” that claims only 2% of defendants released under the new law get rearrested for a violent felony while their case is pending.

That study is technically accurate as far as it goes, but the 2% number is absolutely meaningless and a distortion of what’s happening on the street

Those are number of those rearrested. Factor in the ones that haven't been caught and its worse. Only those disconnected from reality didn't see this coming

The news should be objective and fact based, without bias. Calling for diversification of news rooms because you don't like the stories is just you saying you want a biased viewpoint.

Louisville Bail Fund to pay mayoral shooting suspect’s bond, social media posts say

On Tuesday, after Brown’s arraignment, a Community Bail Fund member posted on social media asking if they could make a donation toward paying Brown’s bail; another member responded his bail has already been “solidified.”

The group claims Brown is struggling with his mental health, and LMDC is not a beneficial place for him to be because the jail doesn’t have the resources to help with mental crises.

The Community Bail Fund held a virtual meeting Tuesday night to discuss the plan further, but WAVE News was not permitted in the meeting.

Black Lives Matter Louisville organizer Chenelle Helm refused WAVE News’ request for an interview about the topic.

Black female high school student is identified as vandal behind racist graffiti that saw Sacramento high school's water fountains scrawled with 'white' and 'colored'

A black female high school student has admitted to scrawling racist graffiti over the drinking fountains at her high school, district authorities said Friday, telling them that it was a 'prank that went sideways.'

The vandal inked the words 'colored' and 'white' over two water fountains at McClatchy High School in what appeared to be a reference to segregated drinking fountains found during the era of segregation in the Jim Crow South.

The unnamed girl was caught on video and confessed to the act. The school district has said she will still be disciplined. 

'It was a prank that went sideways is my characterization of what the young woman said in her confession,' Mark Harris, a community liaison for the Sacramento Unified School District, said at a press conference.

Trudeau's proving to be a scumbag, the Ottawa protests were nothing close to anything done by BLM over the summer or even January 6th but Trudeau's still seizing bank accounts of everyone who donated to the protest.  Not sure how anyone can be comfortable with a leader with that type of power
