Not liking my chances of going 9/9 in my picks. To be fair, the Twins pick was probably at least 50% wishful thinking. Still, Houston should stomp all over NY, so I’m not overly concerned about the overall damage.

Well I’m thinking that just signing Cole isn’t going to close the gap much with the Astros or the Yankees. We need some hitters.

Juiced balls are a heck of a thing. Max Kepler was a poor man's Calhoun before this year. Polanco was Aybar. Cruz is still on roids. Mitch Garver? Give me a fuckin break. Gardner with a career year at 35.

didn't realize the Yankees have beaten them in the playoffs 5 of the last 6 times they've been there.  

2003 - lost 3-1
2004 - lost 3-1
2009 - lost 3-0
2010 - lost 3-0
2017 - lost WC game
2019 - likely down 2-0

the twins have also lost 14 playoff games in a row spanning since 2004.  They've been there 6 times and haven't won a game since the first LDS game in 2004.

Funny I didn't even look at that stuff I just remember every single playoffs the Twins some how played the Yankees I couldn't remember a time they won let alone won a game haha. Twins get to the playoffs see the Yankees and just go welp that was a fun season. Time to get wrecked.
