I hate to feel wishy washy, but this makes me feel uneasy about Trout staying long term with the Angels.  If they talked the entire month process, then surely they had a conversation about playing together.

None of this probably matters but I don’t think Trout will win in Philadelphia. In fact I think his best chance at winning might be here in Anaheim.

And ill follow that up with... if he wants to win so bad why would he spurn the angels to go to philly? Nats couldn’t do anything with Harper... McCutchen wasn’t a difference maker for the giants.. segura was good but not amazing in seattle. Rotation is solid with many question marks, bullpen is meh. They haven’t made the playoffs since 2011. We have a better farm system, more future payroll flexibility, oh and Shoehei Ohtani. What exactly is so enticing about philly other than it’s his hometown team??
