Winter Meeting Predictions

We are a couple days away from the start of the Winter Meetings in Las Vegas. I thought it would be fun to make some predictions on potential trades or free agent signings 

Predict one non Angel transaction: Reds acquire Sonny Grey

Predict one Angel trade/FA signing: Angels sign Adam Ottavino

Predict one "out of left field" trade: Yankees trade Stanton to Dodgers for Alex Wood, and prospects

Non-Angels: Houston trades for Kluber

Angels: Angels sign Machado

Shocking trade: Arenado to Philly

Angels Sign Pomeranz 1 yr 5 mill, Eppler seems to have an eye for pitchers who are coming off a down year  but strong ones the years prior

 

Shocking trade : Greinke back to Brewers

Yanks trade for Kluber

angels Sign Andrew Miller 

Angels sign Dallas Kuechel. Yes this would be out of left field

Harper to White Sox for 12 years 480 million, Manny Machado to the Phillies for 10 years 375 million, Angels land Kikuchi at 5/60 million and trade for Bauer, then extend Trout and Simmons in Spring Training.

Angels don’t sign/trade for any one with name recognition. Before you say I’m trolling on this one. I just think Eppler is going to wait a while to sign someone I think everyone is too high priced as of now and we don’t have much to spend this off season.

Dodgers sign Kikuchi

Angels don't make any trades or free agent signings. But they say they had a lot of good discussions with teams that might bring a deal in the coming weeks.

Neither Harper or Machado sign during the winter meetings.

Dodgers trade for Trevor Bauer.

Angels sign Happ and Kikuchi

Angels trade Calhoun and prospects for Teheran and Camargo.

That would be on heck of a rotation we would have

Happ,Skaggs,Barria,Heaney,Kikuchi, Teheran

Angels trade prospects (not named Adell and Canning) for Realmuto

 

None of this will happen, but if I had to put odds on any happening it would be Kikuchi and Kelley
