I especially loved seeing Notre Dame get exposed. They deliberately schedule patsies to virtually guarantee a major bowl trip. something that other schools can't do. They have been teetering on the brink all season. They beat Vanderbilt by five points in a game in which the Commodores were driving for the winning score but a receiver was separated from the ball on a fourth down conversion inside the ND 20. They beat Ball State by eight points in a game in which they had multiple turnovers. They had to come from behind to beat Pittsburgh by five, and they beat a 5-7 USC team by seven.

hopefully this puts an end to any talk that an independent or non-Power 5 team deserves to be in the CFP.
