Yea one of my former managers is opening that one.

Do they still pay well above the standard fast food pay grade? Always appreciated that about them, that their leadership made the leap of faith that that would not hurt profits.

As an executive in retail, that's always been something that's frustrating. Store payroll being the single biggest line item expense on the P&L, intuitively knowing that store payroll is lower than it should be, but every test adding payroll consistently demonstrates its better not to add.

Yea, we pay pretty well.  I believe we start at $13.50, but what separates us is we give quick raises.  Managers make VERY good money.

Not sure if you have industry comps or not, but if so, do you see lower turnover than average among mgmt? And does that hold true for non-mgmt, with non managers hoping to get there? Always been curious how that model has worked when all experience says it shouldn't. Would love to make it work industry wide, would improve the lives of so many people nation wide.

I’ll make you a better burger and while I don’t know exactly how much a Double-Double costs, I know it isn’t $4.99.

but you also get (good) fries and a drink.
