To honor the final year of Mike Scioscia's contract, a different kind of monument: The four players who he kept in the lineup no matter how little they produced. My list:

Jeff Mathis

Bobby Abreu

Vernon Wells

Raul Ibanez

Replace Abreu with Steve Finley. I know, it was a long time ago when Finley played for the Angels (2005) and he had a nice career but as an Angel, he was worse than Pujols this season.

I miss the days of slappy types:

Adam Kennedy

David Eckstein

Reggie Willits

Chone Figgins

Erick Aybar

Maicer Izturis

It seemed like you could find Izturis and Figgins at any position on the field.  They were both probably 2B that played more at 3B due to needs.

These were all productive players and Scioscia was right to use them, but so darn slappy.

Extra credit for batting Izturis 3-4-5 in the lineup.
