It was, but comes on the heels of the bullpen being overused.   It’s a Catch-22 at this point.

He could've, but how much longer are they really going to go with him? One more inning tops. That was the biggest AB of the game right there, you want your best guy on the mound not the guy you are hoping to get length out of.

Absolutely. It's the type of move that has put him in a box here late in the series. Roberts should've been more concerned with it early on, but now here in game 6 there isn't a game 8 or 9 to worry about and there won't be a 7 if you lose here.
