I turned on the Angel station while driving my car this morning and all I got was dead air with occasional popping. I tried other stations and the radio was fine. I got home and streamed it on my PC and it was working. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me.

I experienced that, too.

I agree with Sosh that Skaggs stuff is really good. His problem however, just like many young pitchers is control.

Skaggs seems best suited as a lefty out of the pen as he really only has a good curve and could probably pump the fastball in at 95 from the pen. If Shoemaker, Ramirez, Tropeano get back next season I think Skaggs should be sent to the pen. Maybe he can become the lefty specialist we haven't had in years

I'm nervous about that bottom 3. Also, I was messing around in that other thread about benching Pujols. o.O I guess he's probably hurting and needs time though.

Still love the top of the lineup though. Hoping Skaggs has just been going through a dead arm period and is about to start getting it back together. Today would be a GREAT day to give the relief some relief.

The bottom three will now go 8-for-12, while the top five will go 2-for-20.

Same here. I can't believe I was OK with Salas coming in after what we saw from Scribner last night.

Every time I see Salas, I get a rash, I start to break out in a cold sweat and my whole body shakes.  I can't stand the guy.  I can't believe he's back.  the Mets released him.  The freakin' Mets!!!  I expect the worst every time he comes into a game.

I like giving him a little more time to see if he can find his groove as a starter. Although granted, we can't really afford any clunkers at this point in the season.

Of course, he may never come around and could wind up in the pen eventually, who knows. But let's just see if he can piggy back off of Richards solid outing from last night and hopefully go a few more innings.
