September: who's clutch or not

fyi Pennington was clutch in August .333/.381/.868

If you read that a face value the way you posted it troll you would think that Cron and Calhoun have not been clutch, yet they were the reason we won yesterday.  Maybe expand on it and add in late inning performance?  I am not being critical, I like the thread idea.

My interpretation is that September is like the 9th inning of the baseball season. Therefore it's about who is really doing the best in September.

Fun fact: Angel starters have combined for a collective ERA of 13.05 so far this month. Without Nolasco, it would be 17.78.

Valbuena and Maldonado have hit more home runs than the entire rest of the team so far this month. Granted, they're hitting about .150 combined, but the rest of the team has hit 3 home runs in 285 at bats.
