Street said he would quit if he wasn't the closer or at least have a defined roll. Sosh has been mixing and matching the bull pen so far. I wonder if Street is really hurt or just pissed off.

good point.  Could be a passive aggressive way of saying that he's getting injured because his role is 'ill-defined'.

Are we really going to think he isn't hurt and that his feelings are hurt because he isn't the closer and so he is pretending to be hurt?  Give me a break.  The guy is just broken down, there is no reason to jump to conclusions like that.

This is similar to a thread I read on FB.  I read that Cron isn't performing well in AAA to force the Angels to trade him.  Grown ass people have those types of opinions.  Obviously being the asshole that I am, let them know that it was ridiculous.  They were less than thrilled.

Dude I don't understand this guy. Like, what the hell?

I absolutely love Street as our closer, but what's with all these pussy ass made of glass injuries? It's just frustrating as all hell.

But to be honest, it's gotta be just as frustrating for Street, he seems to really love being out there.

I've heard so many Angel fans bitching about injuries like it doesn't happen to any other team, but goddamn, am I wrong in feeling like our players get "hurt" more than any other frickin organization in not only MLB, but ALL of sport? It's absurd. We rehab and wait and rehab and wait, then our dudes (Richards, Street, etc.) show up again for 1 frickin' day and then whoop! They're out again. Absolutely frustrating.

In all honesty, I'm over Street and the Angels really should move on too

I think he was viewed as nothing more than trade bait. Id heard through the grapevine awhile back he did something last year that didnt sit well with the org (nothing too crazy, but people didnt like it). Rumor was because of it they were hoping hed come back healthy and they could move him during spring. Obviously it didnt happen...
