it's huston.

there's probably no trade interest in huston because all the other teams are aware of his pussy. /s

in seriousness, i'm sure there's nothing of any measure because he's been hurt for so long. unfortunately, all he'd garner now would be a who gives a shit minor leaguer.

guy is worthless.  dead to me since blowing that game in Oakland (i think it was Oakland ?) the last of week of the season in 2015.  what a nightmare that was.  Pretty much the reason we didn't go to the playoffs that year.  I've never really been a fan.  If they can get a bag of peanuts for him, get it over with and get rid of him.

It seems, though, in the last couple of years that bullpen guys return surprisingly good prospects.  We received a decent young RHP for Joe Smith, for example.  It wouldn't surprise me to see the same kind of deals made involving Street, Norris, and Petit.

We got a little lucky with our Joe return...not to say we can't do the same with Street, but we'd have better odds receiving an impact prospect for Norris at this point. Just hope then that Street can pitch well enough in Norris' stead to keep our playoff hopes alive.

I'm not sure Norris will or would bring much more than a so-so return....the knee was flared up on several occasions and he is new to the pen.....we'll see (if we put him on the market)...

He'd bring a much better return than Street.

Bear in mind, Bedrosian would be more of a Norris replacement at this point, and there's potential there for a gain. Street's future innings would be replacing that of Alvarez or Guerra/Morin/Pounders at this point, so he doesn't have a very high bar to outperform.

My point was I don't think either is going to bring a significant return...Norris isn't going to get the closing opportunities to increase his value with the rest of the bullpen pitching well and healthy.....we'll see....

All this talk of selling.  Sad but true, the angels are only 1 game out of the playoffs.  There's a lot of mediocrity out there.

Unfortunately the reason so many are thinking of selling is because they do not see the possibilities to improve. There are some but we need to stay close in order for Billy to take advantage of any of them.

2B and 3B in particular might be the position or positions Eppler targets at the deadline.
