When is Cron eligible to return from AAA ? Marte, Valbuena not working out.

Valbuena and Marte both play multiple positions. Cron can't. Unless Cron shows unmistakable offensive superiority with power, he's not coming back any time soon.

Cron has had a good week in AAA. But Jeff Mathis put up strong batting numbers in AAA. And so has Cowart. But SLC is at about 4,000 feet, so power is hard to read there.

I think you're wrong. Our offense is our weak spot, not defense, plus Cron has been playing better 1B than Marte. Marte is an automatic out lately.

Valbuena and Marte both are hitting 60 points lower than Cron and haven't shown much power either. Cron can hit with power and he has proven it.

I don't think Espinosa will be doing much running. More like walking back to the dugout.

We'll see how low he can go... .130?.....  .120?....Pretty amazing anybody can be that  bad....

Baseball can humble any player

Humbled is one thing....worst player with regular AB's in either league is beyond humbled...and running him out there every day isn't smart or helpful....

Danny is 213 out of 213. But there are also 212, 211, 210 and counting back all the way to Trout and his crowd at the top. Lots of humble there..
