Want to see the Stones?

I would like to. They are playing in Las Vegas next weekend. Just out of curiosity I checked to see what tickets were left. You can get tickets, all right. It might require a line of credit against your house, though: $750 each, not including a $30-per-ticket "convenience fee" to our good friends at Ticketmaster.

 

I believe that I will settle for the DVD, and maybe a trip to Europe next fall.

Sad thing is, for $750, a $30 surcharge sounds reasonable.  For a $5 ticket, a $10 surcharge doesn't though.

Not sure whether that will happen here, but I'm not for standing in line for hours either, if it comes down to that.

For me it would be like paying to watch my dad and his friends give a concert, for some of you it would be your grandparents. Not saying they should stop making music but they are really more of an Indian casino weekend booking in terms of relevant music.

My sister and brother in law went Friday night.  They said it rocked.   Of course they had standing tickets inside the tongue and VIP tix to free booze in the back.   My sis took a photo with Kelsey Grammer.   My brother in law hugged Jack Nicholson (who confused him for a celebrity) and they said it was a killer experience.   I'd see them in Anaheim if it didn't cost me a car payment to see them.   My inlaws went for free.    Nosebleed seats for $150 don't sound good at all.

 

I read that they released $85 tickets... but even then it seems expensive to pay $1 per year that each of those dudes has been alive.
