he's obviously hurt. he's been exceptionally good for his career and with the angels. he started off well this year, then developed an injury and he hasn't been right since. fans tend to behave like children when they don't get what they want from a player right now. give the guy a break. he's been a very good angel closer and he's hurt.

nah. but it's definitely been out there, in case you think it hasn't.

what's happening is the angels are bad and we have a lot of extremely under performing players over the last several years. the fans have a mindset that's been inured (my favorite word btw) into them that angel's FA's are always a bust. there's a lot of reason to feel that way, but because of it, one can lose perspective. that's what's happening with street. he hasn't been a bust with the angels. he's been exceptionally good, as i said before. the dude's hurt and angel fans should give him some room. negativity can seep into everything, especially when things are going routinely bad and the future looks bleak.

for example tdawg's, "meh" is totally understandable. it's a sign of a fanbase with a dark cloud over it's head. if it's directed at street, as in "who cares", then that would be a little undeserved, but i think it was probably more of the former, but i took the opportunity to make my point.
