They claimed 435. It was actually popped up at a pretty steep angle so it didn't go super far. Batted ball velocity was probably highest of the year so far though.

I think it was closer to 475 than 435.  Nevertheless, whose job is it to come up with these estimates, and how does he do it?  Is there equipment involved, or does some guy just pull a number out of his a$$?
