Matt Harvey to Have Season Ending TOS Surgery

Matt Harvey's agent, Scott Boras, told ESPN on Friday that his client will have season-ending surgery to address thoracic outlet syndrome. 

This is after he had TJ surgery at the end of the 2013 season.  He may need to lose a rib as Phil Hughes just had this done.

i understand the comment is about an embarrassment of riches, but harvey is an amazing pitcher and i hope that guy gets back on the field in full health sooner rather than later. what he did for the mets last year, shouldn't be overlooked. it's cost him millions.

Um...no.

He's obviously not been healthy this year, but when healthy this statement is patently false. When healthy, he's at least third best, which is no reflection on him, considering that 1 & 2 are Thor & deGrom.
