Any word on whether or not Pujols complained about the roster not being as strong as last year?

Pujols admittedly is getting close to a .250 BA, after being at a .132 BA in late April.

It's about the total lack of pitching, Shoe, Bedrosian, and D. Guerra excepted.

With all of the shit people have been giving Pujols this season his May was a .822 OPS and while June his slugging decreased from May he still has been batting .281 with a .340 OBP. In short, he hasn't been a problem in the 4th spot in the batting order for 2 straight months.

Oh and just because someone is going to bring up RISP, even with his complete shit April he has an .801 OPS with RISP this season.

So I guess Pujols was not a topic of discussion behind closed doors other than to everyone but Trout, try and raise your game to the old man's level.

Sorry Strad, I don't have as much "time" as you to sit around and pick the perfect time to make this about Albert. But if he, as he is being paid, led by the example he is supposed to be, there would be no reason to make this about him. Does anyone ever sit around blaming anything on Trout? And if Trout gave us a reason to we would, just as we are with Albert. I don't know what your point even is with this rebuttal. If anything you picked a stupid time to defend him, considering he's have over 3 years to prove he's worth what he's getting paid.

Yes there is a bad time that time would be when he's playing well.  He's hitting over .400 the last week.  

He has earned what he's been paid until this season.  He will no longer be worth what he's getting paid.

Here you go @CaliAngel.  The team is 1-9 in the last ten but Albert hasn't been the problem.  I get it he's overpaid but at the moment he's playing well.  Go back to shitting on him, it's what you do.

I'm just saying that while he's playing well is not the best time to talk shit on him, it's as simple as that.  He's had PLENTY of times and stretches where's he's been bad, now isn't one of those times.
