Not sure why this is surprising, Sosh is always pretty predictable at giving folks a day or two off in the first couple of series. Backup catcher almost always plays in the second or third game of the year, Calhoun will probably get a DH start here soon with Nava/Gentry both in the OF, Pennington probably plays short or third Saturday or Sunday...

Really rare to see a weeknight before 7pm. Looks like according to the forecast that we could see rain late in the game. Score early and often so after five innings we have the lead.
