I actually had one laugh at my girlfriend because she asked if they had some record that he thought wasn't hip enough for his liking. I would have punched him out if he didn't have such massive upper body strength.

Yeah, that movie nails the record store vibe. Most of the guys are like the Jack Black character. There's a Kids in the Hall sketch where a guy goes into a record store and asks for a Doors album and the guy working there gives a long speech about the Doors. It's really funny.

There's a scene in High Fidelity where a guy walks in and asks Barry for a record for his daughter's birthday and Barry gives the guy a ton of crap about it. Funny stuff. When it's not happening to you.

I like that guy. He was in Swingers and PCU too. I didn't even know he was the singer in that group.
