Using tax incentives won't work as long as they can twist the tax code to their liking by other means. The only way seems to be to point at the pile on the rug and run their noses directly into it as you smack them with the newspaper. Doesn't work on puppies but might work on corporations.

 

Still don't see how it would be any different.  Regardless, I agree that the tax code needs to change in a big way.

 

That is another discussion though.

We shouldn't reward companies for doing what they should be doing anyway.  We should be punishing them for not doing it.

With lawyers, it would not.  Because a state is a state is a state.  Unless the state means country or city or mind.  And if you put an and instead of an or a dash instead of a hyphen, then it's on.
