It's crazy to think that's the problem. The only issue is he sucks right now. We really don't need to limit the amount of runners we get on in front of one of our few hitters to look somewhat capable so far (Pujols).

Josh needs to freaking hit no matter where the hell he is in the lineup.

 

Moving him to the 2nd slot isn't going to make his half ass swings any more effective.

The guy has already been up with the bases loaded and less than two outs 3 times already and hasn't managed to drive in even ONE runner. Throw in his 0-10 against lefties and he's completely lost right now. Obviously, the other pitchers know this as well. Albert has already walked more times than he did in his first 40 games last year. Trout, Pujols and Hamilton all hit Milone hard last year so hopefully they can get things turned around tomorrow.

It seems like he succeeded the most when he had Andrus on first base with the Rangers.

Trout should bat in front of him because so far, he's getting nothing but breaking balls.

If they throw it in the dirt, Trout gets a SB. If not, Hamilton hits it.

I think moving him to 2nd might work. It has already been established dude is a mental basket case. Maybe he can't handle the self-imposed pressure being the "clean-up" hitter right now.
