I don't want a republican president and a republican congress. That is way more dangerous than Obama.

 

we've got a real quandry over this as a country. when the president and the congress are different parties, the stalemates reach epic proportions and nothing constructive really seems to get accomplished. if the prez and congress were both from the same party, the fear is that they'll go crazy with their agenda and we'll suffer because of it.

 

we have a real catch-22 on this, and it's a good reason for why we need a third party.

Like I said, I don't mind his politics but he is shady.  I know all politicians are shady, he is just one of the worse ones.

 

As for 8 more years of Barry over Jeb/Hilary... not sure I would go for that.  At least they might have balls.  Barry has none.

this post has me wondering about how easy/difficult it is to emigrate to canada.

 

For me it probably wouldn't be a big deal. My mother was Canadian and I have numerous relatives in the country. I am considering it for retirement.
