Have you paid attention to that guy's posts about Christians and Christianity?  I don't use that term lightly and I haven't just tossed it around on here for just anyone who disagrees with my beliefs.

I think Maher is pretty reasonable when it comes to theism. He doesn't think the Abrahamic god exists, but is willing to admit that some supernatural force may be responsible for the creation of the universe.

For the record, and I know this is surprising, but I don't think Bill Maher lights the Menorah.

 

I don't think he could reach it if he were inclined to light it either.

Bill Maher is like the OC Weekly.  Both of them throw a bunch of negative energy out there and offer pretty much zero in the way of new ideas or solutions.  Lots of nagging, complaining and finger pointing, but no responsibility.

 

And both are littered with hookers and pot, once you get past the psuedo-intellectual discourse.
