Any activity that requires a helmet comes with inevitable risk. Still, this sucks for him and his family. I hope he pulls through.

I was so reluctant to start wearing a helmet while skiing. Now I can't believe I never got seriously injured for all the years I did without. I used to do some crazy shit, had quite a few crashes, and ate plenty of trees. Only had one knee blowout.

It's a good change of pace. Out here in CA, everything is graded. However, in places like Utah they just drop you off at the top and you go down wherever you want....trees, cliffs, etc.

Yeah, couldn't believe it when someone told me worth $600M.  That's ridiculous money for an athlete.
