I find some of the content interesting although the writer uses most of the tactics he complains about in the article.

I found the mayors discussion the most compelling as to how hard the fight internally it is going to be to negotiate a fair agreement for all involved. The biggest red flag is two separate agreements, one with the Angels and the other a development company owned by a Moreno partnership.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  It's not like either side is innocent victim.

The city of Anaheim voted in the City of Anaheim.  Innocent maybe but definately culpable.

With the way the Samulei's are developing the Pond, and with the transit mall right between the Pond and Angels stadium.  Makes me wonder if they are planning on putting an outdoor mall on the street between the Pond and Angels stadium.  You have to think, once the Transit Center is built, the existing parking for Metro and Amtrak won't be needed anymore.  Plus with the deletion of the existing station, the Katella entrance can be used instead of the one under the freeway.
