Think it's always going to be the case since I'm guessing 3/4 of the league is on the other side of the rockies, and I'm guessing 1/2 of the league is in the eastern time zone.

Two road trips where going to Houston adds lots of miles to the itenerary.

Really wish they hadn't put the Astros in the ALW.

UPDATE: It was mentioned to me that the Orioles will travel the fewest miles in the AL at 24,354 — nearly half that of the Angels (source did not have NL figures yet).
