Awesome game for Trumbo. I much prefer watching Trumbo and his constant effort to improve over Hamilton. I guess I dont need to worry though since I keep hearing how bad Trumbo is so he can't possibly be dealt for a solid ML starter anyways.

I'm probably the least Trumbo fan out there but you have to give it to him tonight. It was awesome. So much fun. Nothing wrong with appreciating a great game from a player. Should it change my opinion of him as a player? No, and it hasn't. But it was a fantastic game.

Of course a HR hitter is going to get a lot of runs. The RBI come from hitting behind the best player in baseball.

I don't think anyone is claiming Trumbo is "worthless" or anything of the sort.

 

He's a decent player because of his power, but the fact that that's pretty much all he has going for him limits him more to the decent-good range than the awesome player people want him to be.
