Rays-Angels trade

Recommended Posts

LOL. Classic. You asked if it was possible to get Price and Moore or Hellickson for a package centered around Trumbo and Bourjos and then when literally everyone responds and tells you it's not possible you come back with 'nah, it's possible.' Nice.

Are you drunk?

Moore's pretty far out of reach for the Angels.  Thus, he's untouchable, unattainable.  If the Rays want a Greinke type of haul, that's just a price the Angels cannot meet.  They don't have the pitching prospects or a position player as good as Jean Segura was.

The Angels need to find a trade target that's interested in Howie Kendrick, Peter Bourjos or Mark Trumbo.

You very well wouldn't, but the Angels very well may.  They have a plethora of promising second baseman in the system, trading Kendrick would free up 9 million this year and 9 more next season, other teams are legitimately interested in bringing him in and the Angels need young pitching.  Regardless of preference, the stars have aligned for a Kendrick deal.
