Didn't Hatcher pretty much immediately start working for the Dodgers front office? That isn't unemployment and frankly S-C-I-O-S-C-I-A would find a job in a heartbeat with another team or front office. Butcher would probably find work too.

 

Don't necessarily disagree with your sentiment but none of these guys would be out of work long.

Hatcher did immediately join the Dodgers last year, but he's not with them this year. As of a few moths ago, he was out of baseball.
