well, chris paul is opting out of his $44 mil contract for next year to become a free agent. wonder how much he wants if helping his team get to the finals at $41 is somehow not enough for him. any takers?

also saw reports that kawhi leonard is opting out of his clippers contract. seems like it leaves paul george in a bit of a lurch since i think they both decided to come here together. good luck, buddy.

This was expected. They can now re-sign with their teams on long-term deals. For Paul, it will be his last one.

Here's your answer as to why he opted out.

clippers are breaking ground today on their new arena. it'll be located in inglewood by the rams new stadium. it'll have a similar architectural look and be called intuit arena. will seat about 18k. Balmer is financing all $2 billion himself.
