I am confused about Cruz and Peralta

Both of them have apologized for using bad judgement during spring training of 2012. Now are we supposed to figure it was last season they were juiced or have they been juiced in 2012 and 2013? What period of time do these records cover?

I wonder if they settled so quickly because their history with Biogenesis is much more involved than MLB (or any of us) realize.  The 50-game suspension might be a bargain in the grand scheme of things. 

 

Not sure what the collective bargaining agreement says about Double Jeopardy but I'm guessing they can't be suspended again for connections to Biogenesis if more evidence turns up.  Anybody know?
