Tucker booted McCutchen's grounder.  This is his 3rd game starting at third base this year.  He'd never played there in the majors before this--and had only played there in three games in the minors.

Perhaps my memory is faulty, but you can say that about many Angels infielders over the past decade or so.

That's a negative point for the AW guys who think any player can play any position.

I wonder if Washington will make it to the end of the season with these musical chair line ups keeping the young guys from more abs?

Washington is on a 2-year deal and he'll be in his mid-70s at its end. If Moreno is in charge, Washington will complete that contract.

At this point, the "young guys" who are on the major league roster are getting a ton of playing time.  That wasn't necessarily the case early in the season, but with Hicks getting the boot and all the injuries, Adell, Moniak, etc are getting plenty of playing time.  In fact, if the Angels actually had any minor league depth, there would be plenty of playing time for MORE young guys--but the simple fact of the matter is that they don't, which is why you see randos like Calhoun, Tucker, Pillar, etc.

He will complete the contract and take how many years off his life.

The only time Drury was good for the halos was in like July last year then he got hurt as well as Trout and our playoff hopes were dust by early August ! Other than that brief period before drury's injury last year has he done anything meaningful for his tenure with the halos !
