Yep.

And at the time, Dombrowski was more than content in Nashville.

Middleton had to convince (practically beg) Dombrowski to leave Nashville and go to Philly.

I’m sure Middleton made some assurances that Arte was never going to.

There are always people who are turned off by Dombrowski, saying he ruins teams or that he makes stupid moves or whatever.

The reality is he has taken four different teams to the WS and won two WS.

If you want to get to the WS and have a chance to win, it’s pretty hard to argue with his results.

I would venture to say if Dombrowski ran the Angels for this last disastrous ten years, it’s a damn good bet the team would have been in the postseason multiple times, and there is little chance the team would be left worse off than it is now.
