Glad Rendon is out.

I know it's not about personal achievements, but I really don't want Nolan's streak ending because he goes 0-1 as a PH.

I get it, but if you have an opportunity to bring in your best hitter off the bench to win a ball game late, you have to put Schanuel in there and records be damned.

This is the right answer.

Hopefully we blow them out and Nolan sits out the whole game.

I miss Vladdy so much. Can you imagine had he and Trout been playing together during that stretch instead of Erstad in center.

Trout was 15 years old at that time.

It would ultimately be sad if Schanuel is called in to hit for Sano then Washington calls for a sacrifice bunt. That would take the bat out of his hands and his name from record books.

The third game of a three game series when you've won the first two may be the toughest. The losing team (especially at home) is desperate to avoid the sweep. The winning team may be a bit complacent. And the Marlins are absolutely desperate, losing all their games.

Angels lineup makes sense since it's an early start and Washington wants to give playing time to some others. Resting Rendon till his home debut is probably a good move. But the sweep would be a great way to finish of this trip and it's horrible start.

All righty lineup today

Put the hurt on Puk, and puk up his day.

I know it sounds crazy to say this, but I would have kept Rendon in the lineup and moved Drury to 1B, Rengifo to 2B today.

Puk has always had trouble throwing strikes as a starter. In his first start he gave up 6 free passes in two innings of work.

Rendon has a great eye and yesterday crushed the ball despite not having anything to show for it.

We'll see if Sano is going to be chasing today or if he flourishes, but I would have kept Rendon in there for those reasons.

GO ANGELS!!!

Not worried about who's on first. More worried about Miami taking advantage of who's pitching.

Yep, Need Sandoval to show something today.
