15. AngelsWin still remains the best site to talk Angels Baseball, where friendships are made, humor is rampant, and is the awesome place that Chuck made it to be for the past 20 years. We all say thanks to Chuck for all he's done over 20 years to make it such a place, even when we argue passionately about Angels Baseball.

100% this  👍

8. I am healthy enough to get at least 6 interviews at the IE over the whole season (meaning that I am well enough to go there several times). I also am there to get an interview with a player on rehab. The Angels see that I'm healthy enough again and allow Chuck and me to get at least 1 player like Neto for a Zoom interview.

Im pulling for you Dave wishing you all the best health as a guy who has his health getting worse every year since my accident I can feel your pain. Here is to hope we can both get back to what we like to do soon

Starting rotation and bullpen are both top 5 in baseball propelling the angels into a wild card spot. National media can finally shut up about the angels playoff drought. Angels surprise in 1st round and sweep behind some Trout late inning heroics.

The Angels go 81-81 and are eliminated 3 days before the season ends. They finish higher than Seattle.

Detmers becomes the team's ace.

By May, Adell has had a solid start in limited action and an injury to a contender's OF opens the door for a trade. He brings back a team's #8-10 prospect.

Sano proves as valuable as Soler and JDM. He starts 110 games.

Rada and Dana both crack the midseason Top 100.

The Angels draft a college pitcher who is immediately a top 50 prospect.

The Angels sell from a surplus of bullpen arms, adding 5 guys to their top 30.

The Angels trade Drury at the deadline to give Rengifo the full-time 2B job. He brings back a top 15 team prospect.

Neto gets added to the All Star game after 2 guys drop out. O'Hoppe and Trout also make it.

Taylor Ward has a 3 WAR season. Hicks has a 2 WAR season.

Moniak become a full-time platoon/late game PH option after striking out 35% of the time through June.

Soriano becomes a full-time starter and starts 8 games.

Estevez loses the closing job to Joyce in July.

Rengifo is the best hitter on the Angels and has his most complete season. .285/.355/.485 with 20+ HR and 30+doubles.

The ghost of Nibs is finally exorcised and the whole staff embraces the idea of throwing strikes and getting ahead of hitters (except Estevez, who still makes every save stressful).

The Angels play meaningful games in September but fall a few wins short of the post-season.

The Angels are more fun than frustrating again.

I think it's entirely possible if he's struggling and the team is, too, by mid-season.

He looks done. Drawing a walk is about it and that won’t last much longer once pitchers realize they have no reason to not attack the zone. I know he’s owed a ton still but if this is how he is, they’re better off booting him and giving more playing time to Rengifo, even Soto or Fontenelle by end of year.

I'll add something from Gameday:

Sandoval continues to decline, ends up as the 4th or 5th best starter.

No, this isn't overreaction to his first start. I've been worried about him for awhile, going back to at least early last year.

That’s why I wanted to move him while he had some shine still!
