Looks like it was for $1.75M (sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere...I didn't see it):

Feb. 3: RHP José Cisnero signed to a one-year deal
Cisnero is the latest addition for the Angels, as he signed a one-year deal worth $1.75 million on Saturday. Infielder Livan Soto was designated for assignment to make room for him on the roster. Cisnero, 34, posted a 5.31 ERA with 70 strikeouts, 25 walks and 10 homers allowed in 59 1/3 innings last season. He has a career 3.99 ERA in 259 1/3 innings with the Astros (2013-14) and Tigers (2019-23). The Angels have also signed fellow relievers Robert Stephenson, Matt Moore, Luis García, Adam Cimber and Adam Kolarek this offseason.

MLB hitters did things to his sinker that would make his parents cry.  He throws hard.  Seems to be the theme with this pen.

Also, quick look at the pitch modeling... Great stuff, doesn't place or use it well.  Interesting addition.

Maybe the pitching coach believes that they can fix the location and pitch sequencing issues.

I’m ok with signing guys who throw hard but can’t locate with the idea that you can fix something to improve their command.

The problem with the Angels is they seem to like to run them out there even when there is no evidence that they have improved their command. A plentitude of walks is the quickest way to a crappy bullpen.

Did Soto suck that much last year? Obviously small sample, but he looked great in his time with the big league club previously. The team does not have a lot of guys who can truly handle shortstop with the glove.

My concern is if Neto goes on the DL there isn’t any options on the roster to cover SS defensively.
Rengifo can cover for a day or two but not sure we want him covering SS for an extended period of time.

Jared Tims said he had something like a 71 OPS+ at SLC last year, so that’s pretty bad considering it’s a hitters paradise.
