Just so challenged with baseball fundamentals. Paris can't do a thing, and even embarrasses himself trying to bunt. Once again, dumb base running and sloppy fielding. This just doesn't look like a major league team because half the lineup are far below average.

You can’t watch that half-inning and not realize that the Angels have a player development problem.

Paris and Adams were raw talents out of high school, and the Angels staff and player dev have done nothing to help them.

They suck in all facets, because the org doesn’t help them get better in any facet.

Not a bad idea, to get tying run to 2B with 2 outs, just didn’t execute.

Bullpen matched Seattle’s solid pitching.

One throwing error was the difference.

Only 5 hits allowed with 9/1 Ks/BBs.

Only one XBH allowed.

Dude......... They may not be mathematically eliminated, but they're SOOOOOOOOOOOO eliminated.

I'm wondering if they'll even get "75" wins this aseason? & I'm being generous with that assumption!

An ugly but fitting ending. Phillips swimming in the dirt and not even reaching second. And he was the only one to even touch the 100+ pitches

 If this lineup were to play 162 games they likely would be one of the all time worst in history.

Exactly.  They're probably up too soon, but it shouldn't affect basic fundamentals like base running or getting a bunt down.

Going back a few years, you can include Adell as a prime example.  He was in the minors for 3-4 years, yet somehow no one ever realized he was a terrible outfielder, or taught him how to play out there.

Coaching, management, player development, scouting...everything needs a major overhaul.

And the medical and training staff too. Total purge.
