Astros scored to tie in the ninth but they gave up at least 3 runs in the 10th. 4-1 Nationals in Houston, bases loaded…still one out.

Dodgers are down 4-0 to the White Sox.

I could only listen to Devenski's inning, but after Ohtani put some distance between us, and Soriano mowed them down, seemed like the Rangers were "done" - had our reliable closer coming in, time to just relax and enjoy watching him bring it home.  

Still, Webb has some balls of steel on him, eh?

Really nice win - what is that, 24 come from behind wins?

Not gonna complain tonight - save the complaints for tomorrow

That is true about the pen last night. However, those were fringe pitchers and one of them paid the price via a bus ride on up to Salt Lake City. I have been impressed by Soriano. He just pitches strikes and goes right after hitters. Perry and Phil expect results, and when players don't deliver they may as well pack their bags. Trout has years of credibility in the bank, but some of these minor league players that get their chance are going to have to put out and produce when the opportunity is laid out before them. Otherwise, they will be playing on the junior circuit and some may not get another chance.

We won. That is all that counts. Estevez will be just fine. It was a good sign for the future that when our closer has an off game, we have someone with the ability and steel nerves and resolve to bail him out and quickly quench the fire. That happened today, and it was beautiful. Three out of four, on the road, against a very good team.

Yes, fantastic series this week. Whatever is up with Trout is causing him to play poorly. Maybe he’s sick of the injury label and that’s why he isn’t coming out about it. Hopefully he gets it together soon

We don’t have anyone that can play 3B other than Rengifo. Idk what’s going on with Fletcher’s personal life but if he can play then he needs to be on a plane ride as we speak.
