Was busy last night with friends and then the Lakers domination.

Anderson pitched like he did a year ago, and finished strong, even hitting 93-94 to go with the assortment of off speed pitches.

Finally the starters have some sort of streak (4) with at least 6 innings pitched.

This 17 games in 17 days is thankfully almost over.   Please DFA Loup soon.

Oh, and Rendon, your defense is there and you are 7 for past 20.  Feel free though to start hitting for some sort of power.   Three XBH’s in 82 PAs doesn’t cut it.

Pen blew it, obviously. But, and I'm channeling my inner Rex Hudler here, scoring one run is one more than being shutout.

Look, if the team only gives up 2 runs over 8 innings that means they did their job, nobody blew the game since this is well below league average for runs per game allowed. The hyperbole about the pen blowing the game is simply dumb. 

Even tagging the offense as blowing the game is unreasonable. There will be games the other team manages to keep the Angels from scoring. Whether by excellent pitching or dumbass luck fielding, over the season these games happen.

And it happens to the opposition as well. They main thing is to do it to them more than they do it to you. In the past that did not happen but it doesn't mean that is the season's script for this year. Quit acting like it is in April.
